Evolution Through the Centers

LOTUS PETALS

Each of the major seven glands and CENTERS or Chakras are recognized as a lotus flower by the ancient, eastern texts and seen in this form by mystics with psychic site. The lotus on each of the glands or centers contain a specific number of flower petals. The Root center has four, the Sacral center has six and so on. Each of these lotus flowers and petals are turned in a specific direction that indicates the evolution of a being. If the petals of the lotus flower of a center are turned up, then the being and the center is in rapport with higher forces, or their higher self.    If the petals of the flower are turned down,  then the person is in rapport with their natural, lower forces of desire.

The direction of the petals in relation to the Solar Plexus is important because the petals of the Solar Plexus, as a species, are turned upward, indicating that humanity is ready for transcending the grip of desire and selfishness. From the Root to the Solar Plexus, the petals of the centers are turned upward, in alignment with the rise in human consciousness. However, the Heart Center petals are pointed downward, indicating a closed Heart Center and a block towards reaching the powers of the higher centers, leaving them dormant and inactive until further evolution in consciousness.

Lower Mind and Solar Plexus Chakra

Getting acquainted with the Lower Mind is critical because it is the foundation of the developing character that is in a continual, evolving, reincarnation process that is ultimately tied with the ability to embrace evolution. Through understanding our Lower Mind, we learn to embrace how we operate, what type of skills we have to offer and how we move through the world fulfilling our life purpose.

The stomach, which is connected to the Solar Plexus, Heart Center and Throat Center, simultaneously, holds the lower mind. For this reason, digestion is an important facet for gaining self-awareness and integral to the process of evolution. This ‘lower mind’ is where the mental tapes are bred and fostered, which tend to block the ability to access consciousness streaming through higher chakras. The Solar Plexus mind takes the distortion of all the lower centers: Root, Sacral and Solar Plexus and mixes them into a mental soup of thoughts for the day that whirl around inside the Emotional body aura.

At the same time, the Moon is making an imprint on the aura and mixing with the individual’s chemistry, while bringing in karmic connections.   It is a multi-faceted process that is happening inside our form while we are interacting with others, moving about doing our work or play and simultaneously while eating food and nourishing our bodies.

The Solar Plexus communicates through pressure. If there is a need or a desire in the thought-field, pressure mounts in the organs associated with the Solar Plexus region: pancreas, liver, spleen, and intestines. Most of time, the activity can be witnessed through the stomach. If someone has an over-blown ego, there will be lots of belching or sudden, sharp pangs in the stomach experienced by most everyone in the environment, at the same time.

In the same way, if there is a person who is joyful in the environment, everybody feels a little more better, physically and mentally. Most of the time, these subtle group dynamics go unnoticed by the average person as they are happening in the undercurrent of conversation and interaction and not see easily seen or recognized by the mind that is busy, distracted and focused on physical plane activities.

Everyone is interacting in this way and sharing subtle energies with each other throughout daily activities.

There is a graduation process that naturally brings a gradual awakening within one’s mind combined with all parts of the being: emotional, mental, physical and spiritual.

This shift is simply the integration process spoken about in ancient Hindu texts and modern theosophical teachings. It is the evolution in consciousness through the centers.

At this point in time, we are integrating the parts of our being into a synthesized, coordinated unit, working towards an activated Heart Center, while expanding our ability to experience reality in a multi-dimensional way. This is the next step for humanity in its evolutionary process and can be easily seen by the awakened, conscious being.

Throughout history we witness or hear of those who have transcended the bonds of the “program” and reached the highest peaks of enlightenment.

Evidence is born by great masters such as Paramahamsa Yogananda, Guatama Buddha and so on, who have tread the path of the unfolding chakras, achieving the state of a fully enlightened being in Samadhi (Bliss).   A definitive path of higher principles leads one towards enlightenment, a stage where all higher centers are turned on and functioning, and in relation with higher forces. The science of Yoga teaches these principles of evolution through the Bhagavad Gita and other ancient shastras such as: Agamas and Vedas, Upanishads, Sutras, etc.

There is only one highway of evolution and its up the spine and through the top of the head to our higher source. There are no detours nor short-cuts nor fancy systems albeit some new systems provide great tools.

One of the quickest, most effective ways to experience the possibility of joy that an activated Heart Center can bring is to watch a really, good comedy.

Laugher from a true state of joy is a wonderful way to clear the Solar Plexus, feeling the relief of a quiet, content, mind and the sensation of a joyful heart.
