My art is my passion, my thrill.

When I sing, I’m in joy
I love to lull people's spirits into a soothing, quiet space.
Jazz is my favorite, its gorgeous.

When I paint, I don’t sleep, hardly eat, barely talk to anyone and go a little mad into my deep creative activity. It is such a euphoric feeling to have a vision on a canvas and have all of the necessary tools and colors to create it and watch it come alive. If I could spend all my time painting, I would be absolutely thrilled, in heaven. But it is impossible for me to sell my paintings. So I keep that as a hobby!

I love to sculpt. Not sculpting with clay though, but in the sense of
textile sculpting. I take fabrics and sculpt them into dolls or fashion.

FASHION
Many years ago, I began making rag dolls. They would have long hair and long legs for dancing. Each had their own unique outfit,
making each one a one-of-a-kind.

I called the dolls, "Love, Joy, Happiness" dolls.

The doll-making naturally, somehow, transformed into a fashion line.

I began making my own clothing when I could not find anything in the shops that suited me. I remember visiting a fashion shopping area in the center of San Francisco. I went into every kind of shop that was in that area. I spent the whole day looking for something extraordinary to pop out at me and say "me".

Sadly, I did not find a thing. Not at Macy's, not at Saks....no where. Every store window looked the same and the interior more grim.

I returned home feeling a little strange but somehow inspired by the dire choices of fashion and restructered one of my outfits. Something that felt more like me. I made what I was looking for. It felt wonderful too because it was made from the luxurious natural fabric.

Many people would approach me about my outfits and wanted to know where I had purchased them.

When I watch a goddess take the garments and place it on her body, she transforms. She suddenly lights up and everything changes. The woman begins to feel more regal, beautiful, elegant, sexy, respectable, understated and eco.

I like that. It makes me smile.

THE FASHION HOUSE
I like to keep the fashion business specialized and at a minimum production. I am not interested in having too many people wearing my clothing ~ if you know what I mean.

My fashion is manufactured in California, in the Bay Area.
I do not hire third world countries for manufacturing. I like to keep it local, specialized and unique.I keep production small so there is just a small crew that works to keep the quality of sewing to its highest level with the couture service and the ease in order, ship and customer care.

I use the very best of all natural hemp and organic cotton fabric in the clothing. Most of the pieces include a hint of lycra for mainting the curvaceous mermaid like curves of the designs.

Each design in the collection is worn by me. I love the way each one fits and the way they mix and match amongst each other. I can open my closet door and dress for my mood with the pieces so diverse in design.

I find it impossible to wear synthetic clothing. It is very uncomfortable for me. I absolutely had to create this fashion line so that I could access elegant, yet comfortable natural fabric clothing for everyday and dress up. The collection effortlessly evolved into this fabulous assortment of mix and match designs.

I love the fashion, I wear it most everyday. Its easy to layer for added comfort and with the hint of lycra, it is easy to move, bend, reach and relax in. Add a dash of elegance in the mermaid style and you have a very practical, 'feel good' wardrobe.

All designs in the collection come in the color natural, naturally.

A size chart accompanies each item in the collection in the boutique to help determine the best size for you.

THE MAGAZINE
I meet so many beautiful, talented, inspiring individuals in all the places that I travel and it is my joy to share their words of wisdom, their talent, their inspiration. Artists are such a beautiful expression of divinity.

I look for people who are earning a fully sustainable living doing what they love, in whatever context that means to them. People who rely completely on their craft, talent or ethics to sustain themselves.

It takes incredible dedication to follow a calling at all costs because you know you have to live it. There is this spirit of confidence and will that creates something magic that comes forth when they express their authentic voice in their talent and art.

These are the people that I look for. Those who pursue their passion with all their heart and do not compromise their loyalty to their gift or calling. They live in their own spirit of greatness in doing what they love.

The magazine is designed to create a portal to share these exrtaordinary people that I meet.
